emphasis on maternal traits and have gone to great lengths to build a cowherd that is not only multi-generations solid colored and polled with
outcross bloodlines but, most importantly, our females are proven and predictable and basically problem free. They are the backbone of our

| After searching for herdsires at the Denver Stock Show in ‘07, we found what
we were looking for at the Walsh Simmental sale in Nebraska. Red Dream
provides the potent Dream On influence, but most importantly, his dam is one
of the elite cows in the breed. This Meyer Ranch female is an awesome solid
black cow with an excellent production record. Her ET sons have dominated the
Walsh sales and her daughters are highly sought after as well. We used Red
Dream heavily as a yearling and this set of sons selling may be the best large
sire group we’ve ever offered. They carry so much quality and are so uniform.
The female end is equally as good so Red Dream was used even heavier this
past breeding season. His sons have caught the attention of some very good

| Red Tank 55S topped the ‘07 Springcreek sale’s red division and
has sired a great set of calves for us. He was easily our pick of the
57P sons as he is so sound and correct with great hair and testicular
development. His great emperament is also an asset. 55S’s dam is
a moderate framed, solid red cow with an excellent udder . . . she’s
definately a herdbull mother. Her ET calves, both male and female,
were an impressive group. This set of Tank 55S sons is impressive
and we feel that there are several big league herdsire prospects

Optimal Vision was our other choice at the ‘07 Walsh Simmental sale. Garth was very impressed with the black Trademark progeny at Denver and we were so pleased to find this outstanding red son. Trademark has evolved from being one of the most competitive show bulls of his time into a true breeding bull whose calving ease and maternal traits set him apart from other proven Simmental AI sires. He consistently sires attractive cattle with extra base width and power for a “heifer bull”. He ranks in the breed’s top 3% for calving ease epds and the top 10% for milk and maternal weaning weight epds. Optimal Vision’s (OV’s) dam is another of Walsh’s top donor cows. They spare no expense to acquire the very best. We’re so pleased with OV’s first set of calves. Driftwood is the best black Simmental bull we’ve ever used
or owned. His extreme depth and thickness along with his ease
of fleshing are hard to find. Driftwood is an impressive individual but
most importantly, he transmits his quality to his progeny.....he breeds
what he is. His calves are an impressive sire group and are drawing rave
reviews. Garth toured the Dimler operation and was very pleased with the cow
family behind 83P. His grandmother and her full sister are simply awesome
and provide some outcross, Fleckvieh genetics for our program. We lose a
generation of olledness and solid color with these outcross genetics, but
Driftwood has proven to be both homozygous polled and homozygous black and
his progeny are very solid colored. Driftwood will play a major role in our future.
Many visitors have said he is the thickest black Simmental bull they have ever
seen. If you want to put some butt and guts in your calves, put a Driftwood son
to work for you. Driftwood’s first daughters calved last spring and are everything
we hoped for . . . they are the dams of several of our top sale bulls. |

| We added Total Solution (TS) to our herd bull battery to acquire the strong
influence of the Meyer Ranch 734 bull. His semen is in short supply and is
selling for over $500 per dose as his daughters are so very good. Macho M450
is 734’s best son and is following his sire’s lead of creating super females with
near perfect udder type and lots of substance and hair. TS was bred by Raymond
Gonnet and his dam an impressive cow that produced the ’05 Checkers high
selling bull at $10,000 to Tierra Sol Cattle Co. They showed him as a two year
old and he was the ‘07 Agribition Senior Champion bull. We’re very pleased with
